In 1999 Dr. Kamen Kocilkov graduated from the Dental Faculty of Medicine University, Sofia. Since 2006 he has been an assistant professor at the Periodontology Department, and from 2011 till nowadays, he has been a Senior assistant professor in the same department. In 2015 he received a Ph.D. Degree and the topic of his thesis is Supplementary antibiotic therapy in treating Chronic Periodontitis. He is a member of the Bulgarian Dental Association, Bulgarian Scientific Dental Association, and the INTERNATIONAL TEAM FOR IMPLANTOLOGY. His interests and research topics are diagnostic and treatment methods in Periodontology, Supplementary antibiotic therapy, Mucogingival problems, Plastic periodontal surgery, Dental Implantology, etc.

Dr. Elitsa Ruseva is a Doctor of Dental Medicine with over 20 years of clinical experience, maintaining a clear focus on modern periodontology, implantology, and orthodontics.

She graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2004 and is currently a resident in Implantology at the same university.

Her professional path is entirely dedicated to highly specialized and minimally invasive solutions that combine functionality, aesthetics, and long-term results.

She specialized in periodontology under some of the most established names in the world—Prof. Saadoun, Prof. Hürzeler, Prof. Otto Zuhr, Dr. Cortellini, and Prof. Tonetti. Additionally, she has developed expertise in bone regeneration and soft tissue surgery, as well as laser technologies in dental medicine.

In 2019, she earned a Master’s degree from the University of Bologna in the field of soft tissue management around teeth and implants under the guidance of Prof. Giovanni Zucchelli and Prof. Martina Stefanini.

Her orthodontic qualification began in 2004 with Prof. Rafi Romano and continued through numerous international training programs, including those with Prof. Benedict Wilmes, the Damon Academy (USA), and Invisalign specializations in Europe. She has also completed training via the COIP program and with the world-renowned specialist Dr. Ivan Malagon.

She has been a certified lecturer for Align Technology and Invisalign since 2018.

Dr. Ruseva works entirely in a digital environment—utilizing digital smile design, 3D planning for implant treatment, and modern aligner therapy—while applying a multidisciplinary and individualized approach to every patient.

Dr. Galip Gurel graduated from the University of Istanbul, Dental School in 1981. He continued his education at the University of Kentucky, Department of Prosthodontics.

Dr. Gurel is EDAD's founder and current president (Turkish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry). He is a member of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics (ASDA) and the honorary diplomate of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry (ABAD) as well as a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and an active member of European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED). He is also the editor-in-chief of the Quintessence Magazin in Turkey and on the editorial board of the AACD journal, PPAD (Practical Procedure & Aesthetic Dentistry), and Spectrum. He has been lecturing on dental aesthetics worldwide and giving postgraduate lectures on aesthetics at NYU and Yeditepe University in Turkey.


He is the author of “The Science and Art of Porcelain Laminate Veneers” published by Quintessence Publications in 2003. He has been practicing in his clinic in Istanbul, specializing in Aesthetic Dentistry, since 1984. A renowned sportsman, Dr. Gurel has been the Captain of the Turkish National Team of Water Polo 110 times as well as being the World Champion of the Camel Throphy and a participant in the Paris-Dakar Rally.

Dr. Mirela Feraru graduated in 2005 from the Dental Faculty of Timisoara University, Romania. In 2009 she joined the Bichacho Clinic team in Tel Aviv, Israel and for the last 8 years, Dr. Feraru has gained in-depth knowledge and experience in all fields of Perio-Prosthetic Aesthetic Dentistry, focusing on Restorative and Perioplastic surgery treatments. She continues studying and participating in advanced programs and courses in the various fields of modern Perio-Prosthetics. In addition, Dr. Feraru has acquired extensive experience in high-quality dental photographic documentation and has been sharing it with colleagues worldwide through articles, lectures, and workshops. Dr. Feraru has been publishing and lecturing internationally on Restorative Adhesive Treatments, Interdisciplinary state-of-the-art Perio-Prosthetic Concepts and Treatments, and High-end Treatment-Dedicated Dental Visualization, on which she also authored the book to be published by Quintessence Publishing.

Prof. Dimitar Filtchev is a full professor at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, Faculty of Dental Medicine, Medical University – Sofia, Bulgaria. He holds specializations in Prosthodontics, General Dentistry, and Implantology and earned his PhD in 2012.

His clinical and academic focus includes Esthetic and Digital dentistry, Implant dentistry and soft tissue management around teeth and implants.. He has completed advanced postgraduate training in the USA and Europe, including New York University, the University of Bologna (Master’s Program with Prof. Giovanni Zucchelli), and the Hurzeler/Zuhr Implant Program in Munich.

Prof. Filtchev is the author of over 90 scientific publications, he has presented at more than 200 national and international congresses and conducted over 50 accredited hands-on courses. He has lectured at prestigious universities, including NYU , University of Pennsylvania, Geneva and Naples.

He is the co-developer of several innovative systems in digital dental medicine – including Visagismile®️, HiSmiley™️, Rebel Simplicity®️, and the international platform DIGICUTO®️ – protected by national and international patents (including PCT/WIPO). He holds six patents and utility models related to prosthetic protocols and digital workflows.

In 2024, Prof. Filtchev was recognized as one of the Top 100 Dentists in the World. He is also the recipient of the Best Clinical Poster Award at the 44th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (AAED) in 2019, and Third Prize for Innovation in Dentistry from the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) for Visagismile®️.

He is an honorary member of Style Italiano, affiliate member of EAED, member of EAO, and runs a The Top Dental Center in Sofia focused on esthetic and implant dentistry.

Nitzan Bichacho, D.M.D. is Past President and a Life Member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) and serves on the editorial boards of leading international dental journals. Over the course of four decades, he developed restorative and prosthetic clinical techniques and implant systems that have become widely used around the world.

In 2003 he was nominated as professor of prosthodontics at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Hebrew University and Hadassah, Jerusalem, Israel, where he graduated in 1984.

Prof. Bichacho publishes and lectures worldwide on dental implant therapy, fixed prosthodontics, interdisciplinary treatments, and esthetic dentistry.
